Solar-Tectic LLC is pleased to announce that its patented technology can be used for the backplanes in OLED, LED, and LCD displays.  ST has patented and proven a thin-film transistor technique that can be used for the backplanes of OLED, LED, and LCD displays, replacing and improving upon LTPS (low temperature polysilicon) which is used in the industry today to make thin-film transistors (TFTs) to drive the pixels in all kinds of displays including smartphones.  This is a major breakthrough and is expected to have wide-ranging use in the display industry.  See website and publications for details.
