Solar-Tectic LLC is pleased to announce that its patent for a germanium perovskite thin-film tandem solar cell has been allowed by the US Patent Office. Patent 15/205,418 titled “Method of Making A Tandem Solar Cell Having A Germanium Perovskite/Germanium Thin-Film” is for highly efficient and inexpensive solar cells, replacing the current silicon wafer technology that dominates the world-wide market today.
