Solar-Tectic LLC reports the first-ever extremely highly textured [111] Magnesium Oxide (MgO) thin film on ordinary (soda-lime) glass by an electron-beam (e-beam) deposition method. Such MgO films on glass will have wide ranging applications in various industries, including solar. A paper reporting the results has been submitted to a peer reviewed journal for publication.

Solar-Tectic LLC reports the successful fabrication of the first-ever single crystal heteroepitaxial silicon ultra thin film on ordinary (soda-lime) glass.
